Rebecca Hansell – “Series of Allegations without Evidence”

  1. Philippa Ratcliffe’s second witness was Ms Rebecca Hansell, a former employee who resigned after what she referred to as “unwarranted disciplinary action by the Respondent”. Ms Rebecca Hansell made a series of allegations against the Respondent’s Directors and management which were not corroborated by any documentary evidence. We gained a strong impression that the evidence was given to assist Philippa Ratcliffe and to criticise the Respondent’s Directors solely for this purpose.

The court wasn’t swayed by Rebecca Hansell’s total lack of integrity.

In fact, Rebecca resigned due to serious disciplinary action against her which would likely have resulting in her being dismissed. Despite the seriousness of this, the Directors allowed Rebecca Hansell to resign prior to the completion of the 3 separate disciplinary actions for her to save face. Yet her appearance at court seemed to be more about a dig at the company than helping her friend. In any case, she looked the fool and based on the above comments everyoonoe saw straight through her BS.
